Throughout their luxury vacation in the glamorous Mediterranean town of St. Tropez, actress Nicola Peltz and her media personality husband, Brooklyn Beckham, were spotted in matching white outfits, a staple color for the summer. While Beckham always opted for a simple white tee or linen button-up, Peltz appeared in chic outfits made of embroidered cotton and silk chiffon while pairing them with 2000s-era micro skirts and sky-high wedges.
Upon arriving in the seaside resort town on July 20, Peltz made her way to the Club 55 pontoon. Le Club 55 is a discreet beach club frequented by celebrities, designers, and supermodels such as Elton John, the late Karl Lagerfeld, Kate Moss, and Brigitte Bardot. While I expected to see her donning some of the latest summer trends — long skirts and kitten heels or thong sandals — instead, she wore a lacy floral embroidered mini skirt with snake print cork wedges, a throwback to the aughts.
In retrospect, Y2K hot pink Juicy velour tracksuits, blinged-out flip-phones, and skimpy skirts the size of a belt may be tacky and overdoing it for practical wear. But by combining elements of maximalist Y2K with more minimalist and classy styles, like the Orseund Iris Chiffon Bustier and Celine Nano Triomphe Panier, Peltz utilizes Y2K to put a flirty and fun (but still chic) twist on Côte d'Azur style.
Finally, she tied the look together with black sunglasses and accessorized with large hoop earrings, a waist chain, and a thick arm cuff — all in gold, the metal color choice of the summer.
When she's not day-clubbing at Le Club 55, she spends her time on her family's luxury yacht. On the 22nd and 24th, Nicola wore a low-rise denim mini skirt reminiscent of Abercrombie & Fitch campaigns and red carpet looks circa 2000s (back when denim was acceptable to wear to high-profile events). Again, she mixed the Y2K silhouette with modern and chic pieces: a Rumored broderie anglaise tie-front top, a braided belt, a silky headscarf, and a raffia tote bag.

Other Club 55 outfits of Peltz's include a strapless ivory maxi dress and the chiffon scarf she wore to her previous Club 55 outing. Carrying a penchant for platform shoes, she re-wore her cork wedges. And to add some pops of color, she held a patterned black fringe handbag and protected her eyes with a pair of amber tortoiseshell cat-eye sunglasses.
Spotted for a third time at Club 55 last Thursday, Peltz wore a head-to-toe broderie anglaise set from Frankies Bikinis and a wicker basket bag, a must for French girl summer style.
